Care and Repair Cymru is a charity linking home energy efficiency works with health services, focusing on older people.
It works on behalf of the Welsh Government, carrying out home access and safety works to reduce hospital admissions and ease hospital discharge . They also assess patients’ ability to heat their home and offer grants of up to £500 for energy efficiency measures including insulation, draught proofing, heating repairs and other products .
The scheme also allows a wider assessment of the home, technical support for improvements, financial advice against poverty, and temporary heating for crisis management .

Autonomous province of Trento – New provincial law for the management of the territory(Italy)

The new urban law coordinates all planning initiatives at provincial and municipal level. The law is the result of a participatory process among municipalities, financial sector, local professionals councils and building sector associations. It fosters the reduction of free land consumption and enhances the quality of building interventions by the introduction of bonds and targets in community and municipal urban plans. It subsidizes projects and programs aimed to the refurbishment of existent buildings, also from energy efficiency point of view.
