One can have energy subsidies when the house is joined in district heat. The maximum amount of subsidy is 10% of the investment. On other energy efficiency procedures one can have a subsidy of 15 % of the investments.

Energy Audit Programme (EAP)(Finland)

The EAP is a voluntary programme promoted by a 40 % to 50 % subsidy by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. The total amount of subsidies during the period of 1992-2007 has been 23.1m EUR. The coverage of the EAP by the end of year 2007 was approximately 70 % of industrial electricity use; the coverage in heat and fuels is estimated to be a little lower. In the service sector almost 40 % of the building stock is covered by the EAP.

Sustainable energy investment assessment and benchmarking tool addressing building and facility renovations, principally targeted to banks and other financing institutions, real estate asset managers, tertiary sector stakeholders
This tool has been developed by the Trust EPC South Project, whose main objectives are:
• Promoting dialogue and synergies between the EPC offer side, the tertiary sector demand side and the financing side.
• Developing, in strict cooperation with financing institutions and certification bodies, a robust investment assessment and benchmarking tool based on the existing Green Rating™ methodology and tools.
• Providing training on financing solutions and EPC basics for financing institutions, investor groups, certification bodies, the energy efficiency services sector, tertiary sector actors, public authorities and policy makers.
